Cute little pets

So not much has happened since last month really here in Kinouchiville...Jason is still being a busy bee in his last few WEEKS uni and I'm still plodding along being terrorised by the Young Women of the ward. However...big excitement......

We have goslings!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! When I say we...I mean they don't actually belong to us, but I've adopted them as my own anyway :D Jason spotted them a few days ago while I was at work and I've been desperate to see them since. On Saturday, when Jason rescued me from the hospital he spotted them waddling over to our side of the canal, so we ran (I hobbled) down to feed them. When we were watching them swim over I kept seeing this little blob shooting around the group...that little blob turns out to be a little baby duckling!!! There were 6 Goslings and an adopted baby duckling!! It was sooooooooooooo cute!!! It is quite literally HALF the size of the little baby geese but they were all playing together and mammy and daddy goose were really protecting it and looking after it. When they swam away again mammy goose would hang back a bit to wait for little duckling to catch up. It was the sweetest thing I've seen for a long time. It will be interesting to see how it grows up...we will keep you posted.

I had a little op on my knee on Friday where I had some scarring removed from my knee cap so it can work properly. My wonderful hubby has been taking good care of me while I hobble around.

We had a weekend at the temple Bank Holiday weekend with a bunch from Newton Aycliffe Ward and my parents. We had a lot of fun and managed to get a load of temple work done. It's the first time Jason and I have spent a prolonged period at the temple and it was wonderful. We felt really great after it. I managed to get some baptisms done too which I haven't done in years!!! We had a load of fun with peeps too :D Gave me a kick up the bum to get my family history moving again.

That's about it from Kinouchiville!!!!
